Seeking public assistance - Bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service has charged one man in relation to a bank robbery and has issued a warrant for the arrest of a man in relation to a second bank robbery.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, a male suspect entered the Royal Bank located in the 3800 block of Bow Trail S.W. The suspect approached the teller and produced a note demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and then left the scene.

On Sept. 1, 2015, Keenan Selahadin ABUBAKER, 23, of Calgary, was charged with Robbery. His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 8, 2015.

In a separate incident, at approximately 5 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, an unknown male entered the Royal Bank located in the 400 block of 10 Street N.W. He approached the teller and produced a note demanding money. The man was provided with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Kristopher James AUBREY, 24, of no fixed address. Photos of AUBREY are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
