Seeking Public Assistance - Bank Robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in relation to a bank robbery that occurred yesterday.

At approximately 3:20 p.m., Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, a man entered a bank in the 800 block of 49 Avenue S.W. He approached the teller, produced a note and demanded money. The man was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank. No one was injured during the robbery.

The man is described as black, between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 5’11” tall, 190 pounds, with a slim build and dark hair that was curling out from under the back of a hat. He wore blue coveralls with a fluorescent orange and yellow safety vest, a baseball hat and was carrying a dark-colour backpack.
