Seeking Public Assistance - Bank Robbery

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred earlier today.

Just after 1:30 p.m., today, Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, a man entered the Scotiabank in the 1900 block of Southland Drive S.W., where he approached a teller and passed her a robbery note. The man was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank. No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as black, in his mid 20s, approximately 6' tall, 160 to 170 lbs., with a slim build. He was wearing a baseball cap, dark three-quarter length coat, grey pants, and a white glove on his right hand.
