Second degree murder charge

The Calgary Police Service has charged a man in connection with a stabbing death that occurred in 2012.
 
Shortly after 3 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, police were called to a disturbance in the 1000 block of 16 Ave. N.W., where two men were found with stab wounds. Both were transported to hospital, one man was declared deceased upon arrival.
 
An autopsy determined Wyatt Benjamin LEWIS, 37, of Calgary, died as a result of a stabbing.
 
Following an extensive investigation by the Homicide Unit, a suspect was taken into custody without incident on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2012.
 
James RAJBHANDARI, 26, of Calgary, has been charged with one count of second degree murder.
 
He will make his first court appearance this morning, Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013.
