Robbery Charges Laid

The Calgary Police Service has charged a man in relation to several gas station and convenience store robberies.

Last week the CPS released information about a robbery that took place on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the Petro Canada at 2220 68 St. N.E.

Investigators received information that identified a possible suspect for this incident, as well as three other robberies.

On Friday, July 18, 2014, officers arrested a man without incident in southeast Calgary.

The man was charged in relation to the July 9 incident, as well as three other robberies.

  • Saturday, July 5, 2014, 3:15 a.m., at the Esso gas station located at 220 68 St. N.E.
  • Monday, July 7, 2014, at approximately 2:25 a.m., at the 7-Eleven at 3963 52 St. S.E.
  • Saturday, July 12, 2014, at approximately 8:05 p.m., at the Shell gas station at 7014 Fairmont Dr. S.E.

Joshua Dameon DUNFIELD, 36, of no-fixed-address, has been charged with four counts each of robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and committing an offence while face is masked or disguised.

He was also charged with one count of failure to appear, in relation to a previous incident.
