Home Invasion Investigation

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a home invasion that took place this morning.

At approximately 6 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, five to six individuals forced their way into a home in the 1400 block of 43 Street S.E., armed with weapons, including a shotgun.

One occupant of the residence sustained minor injuries, which did not require medical attention.

The suspects included masked males, and one masked female, all of whom are believed to be between the ages of 18 to 25.

At this time, investigators believe this was a targeted incident.

Police are seeking assistance from anyone who may have seen anything out of the ordinary during this time frame including descriptions of individuals or vehicles.
