Police seek cellphone videos or photographs of deadly assault
The Calgary Police Service is asking anyone who may have photographs or videos of a deadly assault to send them to detectives.
The assault took place at approximately 2:45 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, in the 200 block of 10 Avenue S.W., and led to the death of 18-year-old Lucas STRASSER-HIRD.
It is believed the victim was involved in two altercations prior to his death. Following the first incident, the victim and his associates were separated from the situation, but a short time later the groups re-engaged near the rear of a downtown bar.

Any videos can be sent to a special email address that has been established for this investigation at homicidetips@calgarypolice.ca.
Photographs can also be sent to this address or anonymously through Crime Stoppers using their online tips form that can be found at tttTIPS.com.
Investigators are asking that anyone who submits a video or photograph include as much detail as possible, including who took it and at what time, date and location.
Three men have been charged in connection with this offence, however, further charges are anticipated.
Nathan Paul GERVAIS, 18, from Calgary, has been charged with first-degree murder.
Franz Emir CABRERA, 19, and Joch POUK, 20, both from Calgary, have been charged with second-degree murder.
Detectives would like to thank the media and public for their continued assistance with this investigation.
