Police make arrests in Anthony Fernandez homicide

The Calgary Police Service has arrested two individuals in connection with the 2013 death of Anthony James FERNANDEZ.

Police found FERNANDEZ deceased in a vehicle at approximately 3 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, in the 1200 block of Colgrove Avenue N.E. The autopsy revealed that he had died in the early hours of Christmas Day and that his death was a homicide.

On Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, police released new details of the homicide in the hope that it would help others who may have information come forward. Investigators have since made progress and police now have two suspects in custody.

Further details will be released after formal charges are laid.
