Police investing suspicious death at motel

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating a suspicious death in a Hounsfield Heights – Briar Hill motel.

At approximately noon, on Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, police were called to a motel in the 2100 block of 16 Avenue N.W. Upon arrival, police found a deceased man inside one of the rooms.

Investigators are working closely with the Medical Examiner to determine whether the death was criminal in nature. As it is very early in the investigation, no further details are available at this time.
