Police investigating overnight shootings

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating after police were called to reports of shots fired in northeast Calgary early this morning.

At approximately 3:45 a.m., on Saturday, July 11, 2015, police responded to a call that multiple shots were heard in the 5300 block of Rundlehorn Drive N.E. Police found a vehicle with two occupants inside, both of which had gunshot wounds.

One victim was confirmed deceased at the scene and the other was taken to hospital in critical condition.
