Police Investigate Home Invasion in Southeast

On January 11, 2013 at approximately 6:00 pm, three unknown male suspects, armed with weapons, attended a residence located in the 4500 block 26 Avenue SE and gained entry. The culprits assaulted an occupant in what appeared to be a home invasion type assault. As the investigation is in its early stages, it remains uncertain what the motive for this event may be, but early indications suggest that this was not a random attack. The victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries sustained during the assault.

 

The culprits are described as follows:

 

Suspect 1: East Indian male wearing a white zip-up hoodie with patches

of shiny grey fabric, dark sweat pants, approx. 30 years old, slim build

and tall, carrying a black hand gun.

 

Suspect 2: East Indian male wearing a black zip up hoodie, dark sweat

pants, approx. 30 years old, slim build and tall.

 

Suspect 3: white male carrying a silver revolver handgun.
