Police investigate home invasion

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a home invasion that occurred this morning in northeast Calgary.

Just after 10 a.m., on Friday, March 8, 2013, police received a report that three men had forced their way into a home in the 300 block of Falshire Way N.E.

It is believed a weapon was involved, but details currently being confirmed by investigators.

Six family members were in the home at the time.

It is believed the suspects fled the area in a blue crossover SUV.

A motive is not known at this time, and that will be a focus of the investigation.

Investigators are working to determine what was taken from the home.
