Police investigate fatal stabbing

The Calgary Police Service is investigating an incident that resulted in one death early this morning. 

On Saturday, March 8, 2014, at approximately 12:10 a.m., emergency personnel were called to a residence to the 11400 block of Braniff Green S.W., after reports of a disturbance at a house party. 

Two males in their mid-to-late teens were found suffering from stab wounds and were transported by EMS to a local hospital. One of the victims was declared deceased upon arrival. 
 
The other victim is being treated for his injuries.

The CPS Homicide Unit is investigating. A number of witnesses are now being interviewed at a CPS facility. 

It is not known how many people were involved in this incident. There are no suspects in custody at this time.

Investigators are working to determine the motive, as well as the relationship between the offender(s) and the victims.
