Police charge man living in Rundle home

The Calgary Police Service has charged a man following the execution of search warrants for a house and two vehicles in the 700 block of Rundleside Drive N.E.

On Tuesday, June 25, 2015, police conducted the search as part of a drug investigation. Once inside, police found an airsoft gun, over $9,000 worth of drugs (primarily fentanyl pills) and $4,970 of Canadian currency.

Two occupants of the house were arrested without incident. One was later released.

Ismail CHARANEK, 21, of Calgary, remains in custody and is charged with three counts of breaching a court order, one count of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of proceeds of crime and an unrelated outstanding warrant.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Monday, June 29, 2015.
