Police ask for public’s help to identify vehicle

The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public’s help to find a truck involved in two break and enters in Calgary’s southwest last weekend.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., on Sunday, May 24, 2015, a person entered a Bridlewood residence through an open garage door. Once inside the garage, the individual attempted to enter the attached house through another unlocked door, but fled when an alarm was triggered.

Thirty minutes later, it is believed the same individual broke into a residence in Sundance the same way. A purse and two wallets were stolen from the house.

In both cases, an older-model, white Ford F250 truck with a green stripe along the sides was seen fleeing the area. The truck has body damage in several locations and there is a metal rack frame around the truck bed, a white toolbox behind the extended cab and a loading tailgate ramp.
