Police ask for public’s help to identify man

The Calgary Police Service is asking for help to identify a man believed to be involved in a home invasion earlier this summer.

At approximately 10 a.m., on Tuesday, June 22, 2015, two men visited a residence in the 1000 block of Shawnee Road S.W. falsely claiming to be from a lawn care company. When the resident declined their services, the men left.

The same men then returned two hours later where they spoke to the resident again, inside his open garage. The suspects then assaulted the resident, and stole a computer from inside the house. The suspects fled in white Green Drop lawn care company truck, which had been stolen from the company.

The victim received minor injuries.

Police have completed a composite sketch of one of the suspects in the hope that it will help identify him. The sketch is available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
