Police ask for help to identify vehicle involved in robbery

The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a vehicle that was used to rob a senior.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, a 70-year-old woman left the Calgary Casino located at 1420 Meridian Road N.E., and was walking to her vehicle when a man attacked her and stole her purse.

The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was subsequently released.

The suspect is described as having a medium build and he was wearing a light-brown jacket the night of the offence. After the robbery, he fled in a white car.
