One man charged in two robberies

A man has been charged in two bank robberies that occurred in northwest Calgary last month.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, July 11, 2015, a male suspect entered the First Calgary Financial located in the 800 block of Crowfoot Crescent N.W. The suspect approached the teller and presented a robbery note and was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., on Monday, July 13, 2015, a male suspect entered the TD Canada Trust branch located in the 5000 block of Dalhousie Drive N.W. The suspect presented a robbery note and was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank.

No one was injured during either robbery.

Tristan Brody Nickel PARKES, 19, was arrested on Monday, August 3, 2015 and is charged with three counts of robbery.
