One man charged in June bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service has charged one man in relation to a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday, June 25, 2015.

At approximately 7:45 p.m., a man robbed the Bank of Montreal located in the 6500 block of MacLeod Trail S.E. The man approached the teller and presented a robbery note. He was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Following a thorough investigation by the CPS Robbery Unit, a suspect was arrested on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Dale John ELLISON, 55, of Calgary, has been charged with one count of robbery.

ELLISON will next appear in court on Friday, August 14, 2015.
