On-ramp now open

The on-ramp from westbound Glenmore Trail onto Deerfoot Trail S.E. has been cleared and re-opened.

It had been closed after a large truck carrying asphalt rolled while attempting to negotiate the ramp, at approximately 8:45 a.m. this morning, Monday, Sept. 9. 2013.

The driver of the vehicle was treated at the scene for minor injuries. There were no other vehicles involved in the incident.

The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate.
