Need to identify suspects in Calgary tanning salon break and enters

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify two suspects believed to be connected to a series of break and enters in Calgary tanning salons.  

Since Tuesday, February 24, 2015, there have been 14 break and enters across Calgary and one in Strathmore, AB. Fabutan Tanning Salon locations account for nine of the incidents.

In all cases, the offenders broke in by smashing the front glass doors of the businesses, sometimes using a large rock or an axe to smash the glass. The break-ins occurred after-hours, between 5 p.m. and 4 a.m. In all cases, the offenders entered the business and removed large quantities of high-end tanning products and tanning lotion.  

Over $28,000 in product has been stolen to date.

The first suspect is described as male, wearing glasses, a hoodie and gloves. He has a goatee and often wears a balaclava over his face. The second suspect is described as male, wearing a dark hoodie and gloves, also with a balaclava covering his face.  The offenders carry large duffle bags or large plastic containers.

Suspects may be driving a dark SUV or hatchback vehicle.
