Minor explosion in SW

At 1900 hours residents in the 1000 blk of 75 Ave SW reported hearing two explosions in the alley.  CPS TAC team deployed a robot and found the remanents of two exploded devices and two unexploded devices. The robot disrupted the remaining devices rendering them safe.  The devices appear to be small pop bottle bombs.  There were no injuries or propery damage.  Although these devices would not likely cause widespread damage, they can cause serious injury or worse if detonated in close proximity to a person.

 

Three young men were identified as suspects.  2 were arrested near the scene and 1 is currently at large.
