Man Wanted on Warrants for Sexual Assault

The Calgary Police Service is asking the public for assistance in locating a man wanted on warrants for a sexual assault that occurred on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., a woman was leaving the Brentwood LRT station and walked a short distance toward Brentwood Road N.W. and Blackiston Drive N.W., when she noticed a man walking behind her. The man grabbed her from behind and dragged her to a nearby alley.

The woman was pushed to the ground and the man struck her in the head. The woman was screaming loudly. While on the ground she fought back and was able to flee.

Andrew HOLLOWAY, 26, is wanted on warrants for sexual assault, common assault and uttering threats.

HOLLOWAY is described as an Aboriginal male, 6’ tall, with a heavy build, a pock-marked face and medium-length, black, stringy hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket, a dark-coloured hoodie pulled over his head and dark pants. Photos of HOLLOWAY are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.

HOLLOWAY is believed to be in either the Morley or Calgary areas.
