Wanted on warrants for fraud

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a man wanted on warrants for fraud.

In March of 2015, a man convinced a woman to give him cash in exchange for a cheque allegedly worth $550. A short time later, the woman was alerted by her bank that the cheque came back as non-sufficient funds. The woman was unable to locate the man and has not seen or heard from him since.

The CPS has received a number of similar allegations through unidentified tips in which women are being approached by a man they’ve met through online dating websites and solicited for money. Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have more information about these incidents.

Dallon Kyle JOHNSTONE, 28, who may also go by the name of Kyle ZIRELLI, is wanted on an Alberta-wide warrant for fraud under $5,000. He is described as Caucasian, approximately 6’ tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right forearm of “West 2012.”

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police by calling the non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or by contacting Crime Stoppers using any of the following methods:
