Man Sought on Warrants

The Calgary Police Service has identified a man wanted in connection with a threatening incident, and warrants have now been issued for his arrest.

At approximately 11 p.m., on Saturday, April 27, 2013, a man was traveling on the CTrain from the City Hall station northeast to Saddletowne, when he was confronted by another man who was armed with a screwdriver.

The victim was sitting quietly in a seat when the offender came up to him and started uttering threats. The suspect then sat down beside him, swinging the screwdriver and stabbing it through the seat separating the pair.

The offender then stood up and continued to berate the victim, before moving away from the passenger as they pulled in to Marlborough station.

Another passenger who was on the train was able to capture a part of the incident on her cellphone and those images were circulated publically in order to identify the suspect.

Dennis Ricardo MCNABB, 33, of Regina, Sask., is now wanted for uttering threats, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
