Man Charged with Sexual Interference

The Calgary Police Service Child Abuse Unit has charged a man in connection with sexual interference at a local private dayhome.

The assault was reported to police in January 2015, after a four-year-old boy told his parents he was fondled by a man at a northwest dayhome in December 2014.

The man, who lives in the home but was not a childcare worker, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the boy when the two were alone. The operator of the dayhome is known to the accused in this case.

Police are making efforts to contact parents who may have had children attending the dayhome in the 0-100 block of Rockyspring Rise N.W., and are asking anyone with information to call 403-266-1234.

Miles Jarvis CLARK, 51, has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference with a child under 16 years. CLARK was arrested Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015.
