Man charged in relation to three bank robberies

The Calgary Police Service has arrested one man in relation to three bank robberies that took place in southeast Calgary during the month of December.

On Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at approximately 4 p.m., a man entered the CIBC bank located in the 100 block of Shawville Blvd S.E. 

On Saturday, Dec.13, 2014, at approximately 1:15 p.m., a man entered the CIBC bank located at in the 4900 block of 130 Avenue S.E. 

On Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m., a man entered the TD Canada Trust located in the 100 block of Shawville Blvd S.E. 

In each of these incidents the man posed as a customer and stood in line waiting to be served. When he approached the teller he produced a robbery note. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the premises. There were no injuries in any of the incidents.

Christopher James Marsh, 35, of Calgary, is charged with three counts of robbery.
