Man Charged in Relation to Robbery

A man has been charged in relation to a commercial robbery that took place in March 2015. 

On Monday, March 30, 2015, a man entered a store located in the 1400 block of 52 Street N.E. The man produced a knife, went behind the counter and demanded money from the till. No one was injured as a result.

On Tuesday, May 5, 2015, Preston Lee PHIPPS, 18, of Calgary, was arrested at a residence in northeast Calgary without incident. He is charged with one count of robbery and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon. His next court appearance is on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
