Man Charged in Multiple Stabbing

A man has been charged in relation to an incident that occurred outside a downtown bar on the weekend.

Police were called to the 200 block of 8 Avenue S.W., around 2:30 a.m., on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, for reports of three people who had been stabbed during an altercation.

Due to the size of the altercation, witnesses were able to identify the alleged offender and he was taken into custody by officers at the scene.

The victims in this case were taken to a local hospital for treatment. None of the injuries are life threatening.

Bill LY, 24, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, and three counts of breaches of conditions. LY appears in court today, Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015.
