Investigation leads to drug bust in northwest

The Calgary Police Service has seized weapons, drugs and drug manufacturing equipment from a northwest home.

Following tips from the public, members of the District 3 Operations Team began investigating reports of drug dealing observed in the Huntington area.

During the investigation, officers determined a northwest home was being used for “stashing” and producing drugs. On Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, police executed a search warrant on a home in the 500 block of Panamount Boulevard N.W.

Investigators seized approximately 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, 1,250 grams of marijuana, equipment used for the production of methamphetamine, as well as Canadian and American currency and firearms. Police also seized a 2013 Black Ford F150 under the Possessions of Crime legislation.

Aaron DEBEURS, 24, and Jesse DEBEURS, 26, have been charged with multiple drug and weapons-related offences in connection with this operation.
