Investigation into shots fired
Charges have been laid in relation to an incident that occurred late last night.
A woman was staying with a friend at a residence in the 4600 block of 20 Ave. N.W., when a man with whom she has been in an intermittent relationship broke a basement window from the outside.
The incident took place on Monday, Aug. 19. 2013, at approximately 11:30 p.m.
It is not clear if the man was trying to break in, or just get the woman’s attention.
A male resident of the house then fired 3 or 4 shots out of the broken window.
It is believed the shots were not aimed at anyone, and the man who broke the window had already left the area.
This incident was not random and all parties involved were known to one another. No one was injured.
Gary Paul BUCCI, 68, been charged with one count each of unsafe storage of a firearm and careless use of a firearm.
Two breaches of conditions and one count of property damage are pending against the other man, who can’t be named until the charges are laid.
