Incident at Country Village Manor

At approximately 8:30 a.m., today, Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, emergency crews responded to a home in the 0-100 block of Country Village Manor N.E., for reports of a man in medical distress.

When crews arrived they found a 26-year-old man deceased inside a vehicle within an attached garage. It is believed the victim died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning and the death is not considered suspicious.

Due to the possibility of the gas leaking into the home from the attached garage, three people who were inside at the time – a woman and two children – were taken to hospital for precautionary reasons.
