Homicide Victim Identified

The identity of Calgary’s third homicide victim of 2014 has been confirmed.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, a man in his 50s walked into the Delta Bow Valley hotel, located at 209 4 Ave. S.E. in search of medical assistance. The man was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition and was declared deceased upon arrival at the hospital.

Following an autopsy, the victim has been identified as 50-year-old, Carlton EDLUND, of Calgary. He died as a result of a stabbing.
