Homicide investigation – victim identified

A suspicious death in the southwest has now been deemed a homicide.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2015, police were called to the 8800 block of Canada Olympic Drive S.W., for reports of a body found on scene. One man was found deceased upon arrival.

Following an autopsy the victim has been identified as Mohameddek Ali MOHAMUD, 25, of Calgary. Cause of death is not being released at this time.
