Home invasion – seeking public assistance

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate three men responsible for a home invasion that occurred in July 2015.

At approximately 3:10 a.m., on Wednesday, July 15, three men forced their way into a residence in the 700 block of 6 Avenue S.W. by kicking in the door.

A 29-year-old male occupant confronted the group but was physically assaulted. One of the suspects threatened to shoot him but no gun was seen.

The suspects then fled the scene when neighbours went to investigate the commotion.

The victim received minor injuries as a result of the altercation.

Although a motive has not been determined, this is believed to be a targeted attack.

Suspect one is described as a Caucasian man, wearing a blue jacket, black skinny jeans, black runners and was carrying a black duffle bag.

Suspect two is described possibly an Asian or as an Hispanic man and was wearing a white / grey baseball hat, a black jacket, grey pants and grey runners.

The third suspect is described as wearing a baseball hat, grey hoodie, black vest, jeans and black shoes.

Photos of three men who may have information relating to this incident are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
