Hit-and-run involving pedestrian

The Calgary Police Service continues to investigate a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian.

At approximately 8 p.m., yesterday, Wednesday, July 30, 2015, a woman and two toddlers were crossing the street in a marked crosswalk at Temple Drive and 56 Street N.E. when they were struck by a white Honda vehicle. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.

The woman, 38, was transported to hospital where she remains in serious but stable condition. The children, a 2-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, were taken to hospital as a precaution and have since been released.

The white Honda is believed to have damage to the front grill and hood area with possible windshield damage.
