Highland Park suspicious death investigation

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit has been called to investigate the death of a man this morning.

At approximately 9 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, police were called to the 4200 block of Centre Street N.W., for a check on welfare. An injured man was found exiting a residence and taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. He succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

The investigation is ongoing and the scene is being held.
