Evergreen Suspicious Death Investigation

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate the suspicious death of a man in Evergreen last night.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, police were called to the 500 block of Evermeadow Road S.W. for reports of gunshots. Upon arrival a man in his 30s was found deceased at the scene.

Investigators have spoken with a number of witnesses and there is nothing to indicate this was a random attack, however, a specific motive has yet to be determined. Police are working to determine suspect description(s) and to confirm if any vehicles were involved.
