Drug and weapons charges
The Calgary Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit has laid drugs and weapons charges after a six-month investigation into a criminal organization allegedly involved in gun and drug trafficking.
On Friday, March 8, 2013, a warrant was executed at four residences in Calgary, on Costa Mesa Close N.E., Sage Valley Green N.W., 44 Street S.E. and Silverado Saddle Ave. S.W.
During the execution of the warrants, officers located a Sig Sauer semi-automatic, .45-calibre handgun with ammunition nearby, a loaded AK47 machine gun and a half kilogram of cocaine, with a street value of approximately $50,000.

Manuel Heribert FLORES, 26, Ericka Fernanda VASQUEZ, 20, and Pablo Humberto IRIBE, 20, have each been charged with one count of possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm without license and possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition.
IRIBE has also been charged with possession of a prohibited device.
