Critical Injury Investigation Deemed Non-Suspicious

The investigation into a woman admitted to hospital under suspicious circumstances has concluded following an autopsy.

On Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, a woman in her 40s attended a Calgary hospital. Her condition deteriorated over a number of days and she died on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014.

Following an investigation by the Homicide Unit, and an autopsy completed today, Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, the death has been deemed non-suspicious. As it is not a criminal matter, no further information will be released.
