Crime Stoppers Re-enactment – Home Invasion Robbery

A Crime Stoppers re-enactment will take place today, Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 9:15 a.m., to seek assistance from anyone with information about a home invasion last October.

At 9:50 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, three armed men began banging on the front door of a residence in the 0–100 block of Skyview Shores Garden N.E.

Thinking it was her husband, the victim who was alone at the time, opened the door. The culprits forced their way into the residence yelling at her to give them gold and money. The men were armed with a handgun and knives during this home invasion robbery.

One of the culprits, armed with a gun, led the victim around the residence looking for jewelry. Before leaving the home with an estimated $20,000 in property, the men shoved the victim into a closet.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

Investigators believe the home was targeted by the offenders who likely knew the family temporarily had a large amount of jewelry in the home as they were celebrating a family event.

The first suspect is described as Aboriginal, 5’6” tall, with a medium build. He wore a black mask, black jacket, black gloves, blue jeans, and was armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect is described as 5’11” tall, with a medium build. He was wearing black jacket and black, a black mask, black gloves and had a knife in his hand.

The third suspect was 5’3” tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a mask, black gloves, black jacket and black pants, and he carried a knife.
