Crime Stoppers Re-enactment - Stabbing

A Crime Stoppers re-enactment will take place today, Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at 10 a.m., to seek assistance from anyone with information about a stabbing that took place in December.

At approximately 11:40 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, a woman and a man were sitting in a parked car in the 0-100 block of Appleglen Park S.E., when they were approached by a man who knocked on the driver’s side window. The driver of the vehicle rolled down the window. The man made comments to the driver and then stabbed him.

The driver was able to drive away from the man, and to hospital where he was initially in serious, life-threatening condition. His condition was later upgraded to stable, and his female passenger was uninjured during the incident.

Investigators believe this was a random incident and was not related to drugs, or a robbery attempt.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his 30s, approximately 6’ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie at the time of the incident.

A composite sketch of the suspect is available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.

Anyone with information on this incident, including the identity of the suspect, is asked to call police at 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers anonymously using any of the following methods:
