CPS Investigates Death in Northeast Calgary

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating after a man was killed in northeast Calgary this morning. 

On Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at approximately 9:50 a.m., emergency personnel responded to reports of a man shot in the 300 block of Manora Rd. N.E.

Upon arrival, first responders located the man and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. 

The name of the victim and official cause of death will not be released until an autopsy is conducted early next week.

As this investigation is in the very early stages, no further details are available at this time.
