Charges Laid in Relation to Incident at The Bow

Calgary police have arrested and charged a man in relation to an incident that occurred at The Bow earlier this week.

On Tuesday, June 11, 2013, police received reports of a man wielding a knife and uttering threats in The Bow tower in downtown Calgary. Upon arrival, police did a thorough search of the building, but were unable to locate the man.

Yesterday, Wednesday, June 12, 2013, police received an unwanted guest call to the Westin Hotel in downtown Calgary. Upon arrival, they located and arrested the unwanted guest. Upon further investigation, it was determined the unwanted guest and the man uttering threats in The Bow were the same individual.

Tyler Judin BERG, 26, of Calgary has been charged with two counts of mischief in relation to these incidents. BERG was released and is scheduled to appear in court again on July 4, 2013.
