Charges laid in Calgary Courts Centre collision
The Calgary Police Service has laid charges against a man after a vehicle was driven into the exterior of the Calgary Courts Centre at 601 5 St. S.W.
At approximately 3 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2013, police were called to reports that a Ford F150 had driven along 7 Avenue S.W., around a concrete barrier and into the front of the south entrance.
The vehicle caused significant damage to the doors of the Calgary Courts Centre.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene. He was not injured.
Jaren Wayne FESER, 29, of Calgary, has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and causing damage to property.
He has been remanded in custody and his next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.
