Charge laid in bank robbery investigation

The Calgary Police Service has charged one man in relation to a bank robbery that occurred in August.

At 10:24 a.m., on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, an unknown man entered the CIBC located in the 2300 block of Centre Street N. He approached a teller and produced a note demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the bank. No one was injured during the robbery.

Benjamin LEGAULT, 35, of Calgary, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 20, 2014, and has been charged with one count of robbery.
