Cause of Death Released in Weekend Homicide
Following an autopsy, the cause of death of Calgary’s 15th homicide victim of 2013 has been identified.
At approximately 10:15 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013, police responded to reports of an injured man in the 200 block of 8 Avenue S.E. Upon arrival officers found a man, and with assistance from EMS, determined he was deceased.
A short time later, one man was taken into custody.
William LITTLE CHILD, 20, of Calgary, is charged with second-degree murder.
An autopsy took place today, Monday, July 29, 2013, and determined a 36-year-old man died as a result of a stabbing. Although his identity was formally confirmed during the autopsy, his name will not be released until police can confirm all next of kin notifications have been completed.
