Call for assistance

On Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, just before 6 p.m., Calgary Police Service officers responded to a call in the 800 block of 28 St. N.W.

The caller had requested assistance for a group of people who wanted to leave the home.

Six people exited the residence.

One person was arrested on unrelated warrants without incident.

Michael Shane HUNT, 40, of Calgary, was arrested on several unrelated warrants, including obstruction, impersonation of a police officer and five Traffic Safety Act warrants.

Officers determined that no one remained in the residence.

At this time, the role of the Calgary Police Service is to ensure the house remains secured.
