Calgary Police Commission Public Meeting

The Calgary Police Commission is hosting a Public Meeting, tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb 24, 2015, in the Calgary Police Commission Boardroom.

The meeting will begin at 3:30 pm, at 650 - 615 MacLeod Tr. SE. The meeting does not include a presentation from the Calgary Police Service and will, therefore, be quite brief.

The Calgary Police Commission provides civilian oversight to the Calgary Police Service. Under the Police Act, the Calgary Police Commission establishes policies to provide for efficient and effective policing; in consultation with the chief of police, allocates funds provided by City Council; and monitors the complaint process.
