Bank Robbery

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a bank robbery earlier today.

At approximately 9:45 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, a man walked into the Bank of Nova Scotia in the 1400 block of 17 Avenue S.W., and approached a bank teller. He handed the employee a note that demanded cash. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and calmly walked out of the bank.

The suspect is described as black, between 23 to 25 years old, 5’11” to 6’1” tall, 130 to 150 pounds, with a slim build. He had a goatee and was wearing a baseball hat, black hoodie with a black puffy vest, baggy track-style pants, and dark-coloured runners.
